History

The library was established 1864 by Aksel Lehtinen, a schoolmaster and civil cervant, and was probably located at his home. Year 1878 there were 30 books in libary. Year 2004 the library moved into its’ current location, a former grocery store.

We have Aksel in the library even today: the modern Aksel is a cute library elf, who sits in the library´s desk.
